Live Analog Clock Display Based on Your Location
Table Of Contents
While smartphones and digital clocks have become commonplace, analog clocks still hold an irreplaceable charm. Watching the hands move brings a calming sensation, don’t you think? I created a digital clock page, but I wanted to capture this unique charm, so I decided to make an analog clock with moving hands. Although it has the classic analog hands, I aimed to give it a more modern touch.
Live Location-Based Analog Clock
The analog clock displayed on this page automatically shows the time based on your current location. Inside the round clock face, there’s an AM/PM indicator to help differentiate morning and afternoon, along with the current date, day of the week, and GMT time for your location.
The dropdown menu allows you to check the time in various cities. If you’d like to reset to your local time, simply press the “Reset to Local” button.
Currently, the clock provides the time for 50 different cities. For any other locations, the country and city name are shown in English.
Background Settings
Upon opening the page, you’ll see a default background, but you can personalize it by clicking the “Change Background” button. Use the file upload option to add an image or photo of your choice. Why not set the clock’s background to create a unique vibe?
Fullscreen Mode
If you’d like a larger view or a more immersive experience, click the Fullscreen button. You’ll see the analog clock in a bigger format. The “Fullscreen” button changes to “Exit Fullscreen,” or simply press ESC on your keyboard to return to the original view.
Switch to Digital Clock
If you prefer numbers over clock hands, click the “Digital” button to go to the live digital clock page.
The Beauty of Analog in the Digital Age
This site is designed to be simple for anyone to use. Watching the smooth, precise movement of the clock hands brings back the unique charm of an analog clock, even in the digital era. I hope you enjoy this timeless experience!
